REMIT: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Coach to join our exceptional Coaching Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced scrum techniques, strategies, and systems to enhance team performance in the set-piece. This role requires expertise in scrum mechanics and player development, as well as the ability to contribute to the overall enhancement of team performance more broadly. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement scrum-specific training programs tailored to the team’s needs Analyse scrum performance and provide feedback to players and coaching staff Work closely with the forwards to enhance scrummaging power, technique and coordination Ensure compliance with World Rugby scrum laws and safety regulations Introduce innovative techniques to gain competitive edge Collaborate with strength and conditioning coaches to align physical preparation with scrum requirements Monitor player progressions and provide detailed performance analysis Work closely with the Director of Rugby and wider coaching group to align scrummaging strategies with overall game plans Participate in team selection meetings, providing insights on player readiness and suitability for scrum roles Study opposition scrums to prepare tailored tactics and countermeasures THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Experience within an elite rugby context In-depth knowledge of scrum techniques, laws and safety protocols Experience in using performance analysis tools and technology Excellent communication and leadership skills How to apply:
