Position Summary: Responsible for leading the Agile team and applying Scrum to achieve business value. Facilitate Scrum routines and corresponding with management as needed. Work with the Agile team to remove impediments. Proficiency in using Jira for managing project deliverables. Manage governance routines that include daily/weekly routines, tollgates, program increment preparation, updating project repositories and required documentation. Create, maintain, and execute project plans. Integrate with project, technology, and business partners to manage the projects and be proactive in gathering status updates from partners, while minimizing impact. Facilitate communication, influence, and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to obtain agreement between partners. Establish and provide supporting documentation for governance routines. Establish status templates and weekly status update routines. Job Description: This job is responsible for facilitating scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies, providing visibility into delivery plans and progress, promoting agile principles and mindset through coaching, and enabling continuous improvement across multiple scrum teams. Key responsibilities include optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered for medium to high complexity projects and programs. Job expectations include ensuring the team resolves impediments quickly, following agreed-to processes, and maintaining a good relationship with the product management team and other stakeholders. Responsibilities: Facilitates Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. Provides visibility into the Agile team’s delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders. Manages risk including dependency management, impediment removal, and compliance with Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements. Applies metrics to assess team delivery, maturity, and performance and identifies and shares improvement opportunities with the team. Partners with product stakeholders to ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog. Provides coaching and mentoring to the team for them to become high performing by collaborating, focusing on continuous improvement including cross-training, and sharing knowledge on scrum practices and Agile principles. Leads scaled planning for the team including Pre Planning/Preparation and Program Increment Planning Events and represents the team in Scrum of Scrums/Agile Release Train Syncs. Required Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience in Agile; Project management experience. Experience with Scrum master, Agile, Jira. Knowledge of Agile methodology and framework (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.). Knowledge of software development lifecycle. Ability to lead and influence team in adopting the Agile principles. Ability to ensure the correct use of Scrum process. Ability to manage complex project(s) simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; analytical and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable presentations/reports and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients. Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines. Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills. High level of credibility with executives and business partners; demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and drive to results. High level understanding of BAC Enterprise Change Standards is a plus. Able to work independently with limited supervision. Desired Qualifications: Scrum Master Certification is preferred.
