We are looking for a Head of Strategic Partnership Development. International Supply Chain (ISC) is part of the Sea Logistics Business Unit and focuses on two core services: purchase order and shipment management. In the UK market, these services are well established and support customer retention while allowing opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of freight and other services. You will be responsible for leading ISC business development activities and driving growth and profitability in the product. The focus will be on delivering new customers, upselling to existing accounts, and improving the efficiency of the wider Business Development team, e.g., National Account Managers and Business Unit Sales. Your Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with prospective customers, facilitating a better understanding of their needs and establishing a high level of trust. Ensure sufficient pipeline to meet UK ISC targets. Guide on Customer Qualification process for new business opportunities. Ensure crucial prospects have the right team in place to unlock the winning strategy. Enable upselling ISC services to incumbent Sea Logistics customers as part of retention. Report to business leadership on the progress of all live opportunities and budget. Develop and maintain UK ISC tariffs. Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of the ISC products, including technology platforms. Your Skills and Experiences
Education in Transport and/or Logistics with a qualification in Logistics, either degree or CILT equivalent. Solid experience in Commercial Supply Chain Management in senior roles. Knowledge of the UK retail market with account management experience. Customer-obsessed and excellent in anticipating customers' needs and ensuring we are able to fulfill promises.
