Emily Mills at the CK Group is recruiting for a Chemist to join a chemical company in the aerospace industry, at their site based in Shildon. This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
The Company:
Our client manufactures paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.
Up to £15.30 per hour (PAYE).
Location:
This role will be site based, at our client's manufacturing site in Shildon.
Your main duties will be:
Participate in development of new products.
Provide advice and recommendations to other departments and customers to assist in solving potential problems and queries.
Carry out other work as required according to Task request system.
Input formulations into site MRP system.
Meet with suppliers to discuss new materials or problems with existing materials.
Support quality department in resolution of customer complaints.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Scientific knowledge, particularly chemistry based.
Ability to formulate coatings/sealants preferred.
