Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Second Chef to be part of the team in Grove Care Home. Located only 16 miles from Aberdeen, Grove Care Home enjoys a rural charm in the village of Kemnay. A very homely property, Grove caters predominantly for frail elderly residents as well as those living with dementia.

Your role as a Meallmore Chef will include:
Assist the Head Chef to plan, prepare, and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of our residents. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless food service and resident satisfaction. Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience. Adhere to food budget guidelines and assist in minimising waste. Skills and Requirements:
Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements and food allergies is desirable. Strong culinary skills and creativity to prepare appetizing meals. Proficiency in food safety practices. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable. Ability to add flare and influence the menu.
