We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our Humanities Faculty as Second in Department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our curriculum and assessment design for KS3-4 Geography, History and RE. You will support staff CPD, support enriching school trips in the UK and abroad, and lead intervention clubs to enhance KS4 outcomes. If you are enthusiastic about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness in students, we would love to welcome you to our vibrant and supportive team. We are offering a £3,000 Golden Hello for this role, which will be paid as a one-off lump sum to the successful candidate upon employment commencing with Future Schools Trust. You will be joining a well-resourced department that is driven in our focus on raising achievement; Geography, History and RE are popular options at GCSE. The post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for their next step or a new environment. Whilst experience of teaching across all disciplines would be desirable, we would be more than happy to consider candidates from each of the subject specialisms. The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and skills. You will have a flexible and enthusiastic attitude, the ability to motivate colleagues and communicate effectively at all levels, and a sense of humour! You will be excited about the prospect of driving the science department to be the best it can be.
