About the Role:
What Will You Be Doing?
- Delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the secondary school curriculum
- Inspiring students to achieve their best academically and socially
- Supporting students of varying abilities and adapting teaching methods to meet their needs
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a positive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations for student achievement
- Paid to scale
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Subject specialism in Physics or Mathematics
- Recent experience teaching at secondary level, preferably in KS3 or KS4
- Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to engage students
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm for education
- Right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
