Career Teachers are looking to recruit experienced and passionate Supply Teachers to work within a cluster of Secondary Schools in the Birmingham area.

We are looking to appoint passionate secondary school teachers who can maintain a high standard of teaching, inspire students, and continue to drive up performance. We are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments as we offer part-time and full-time hours to suit.

As a Supply Teacher you will:

  • Have the opportunity to work in a variety of secondary schools
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils aged 11 to 16 (key stage 3 and 4)
  • Encourage pupils to interact and engage within the class
  • Provide detailed feedback on pupil's achievements and progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools policies and procedures

To be successful for this role, you must:

  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS / QTLS)
  • Experience teaching in secondary schools
  • Flexible and adaptable to cover various subjects in different secondary schools
  • Eligibility to work within the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
  • Have up-to-date safeguarding training dated within the last 12 months; Career Teachers offer a FREE online Safeguarding training course.
  • Provide a full 10 year career history and a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
