Bee Tee Alarms Ltd is a family-run business that is one of the largest UK-based installers of high-quality security systems. They've been established for nearly 30 years. Their head office is in Northampton, with branches in Banbury, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, and Coventry.

Due to demand, Bee Tee Alarms is now looking to recruit three apprentices who will initially pair with existing engineers; two in the Northampton area and one in the Birmingham area. They are keen to offer people the chance to secure a career within the fire and security sector, offering a family-oriented environment.

As part of the apprenticeship, you would work on Access Control Systems, Security Alarms, and CCTV (among others) and grow to be a multi-disciplined engineer across the 3 years.

Entry Requirements

Desired Skills/Qualities:

No criminal record and able to pass an enhanced DBS background check. Hold a full UK driver's license OR at the very least, be able to commit to obtaining one by the end of year 2 of the apprenticeship. Comfortable working at height. Basic electrical awareness and knowledge would be ideal. A solid foundation level of IT would be ideal. Maths and English at grade 4 or above GCSE, or equivalent. Training to be Provided

Bee Tee would train you on the installation, maintenance, and repair of the following areas, among others, via hands-on practical experience from their experienced engineers:

Access and Entry Intruder Alarms CCTV Skills for Security Offer: Delivery of the Level 3 apprenticeship.

Completing all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training center and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.

Complete an annual assessment at the training center and take part in any additional training courses that the company requires you to complete.

Things to Consider

The apprenticeship is 36 months and therefore, full commitment is needed.

A driver's license is required by the end of year 2.

Future Prospects

A full-time engineer position will be available for the right candidate upon completing the apprenticeship.
