Job Description Summary: The Security Architect will lead and direct cyber architecture solutions, working closely with the customer’s architecture team to develop secure, robust, and scalable solutions. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and legislative requirements, defining architectural frameworks, and technically leading the implementation of security solutions. Key Responsibilities: Provide security architecture frameworks and guidance to project teams and SMEs during design and implementation phases. Architect security solutions and lead their implementation in accordance with the client’s agreed architectural framework. Collaborate closely with the customer’s architecture team to develop and deliver solutions. Ensure customer security requirements are met and visibly mapped to the architectural framework. Offer consultancy and support on architectural and technical issues, mentoring team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Promote and encourage the use of DXC’s Portfolio of Security Products and Services, ensuring best-fit solutions for customers. Continuously update knowledge of security controls, monitoring, and the security aspects of common technologies and product sets. Actively support incident investigations and updates to designs in compliance with the client’s architecture framework. Provide ‘soft’ consultancy skills to build customer trust and strong working relationships. Required Experience & Skills: Enterprise Security Architecture experience. Cloud Security Architecture experience. Proven expertise working with UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and HMG to capture security requirements and design solutions. Experience defining and implementing security solutions within TOGAF, SABSA, or similar frameworks. Strong knowledge of standards, policies, and legislation, including ISO 27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework, PCI DSS, SOX, COBIT, and more. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and planning skills, particularly in Agile delivery programs. Understanding of threat and risk analysis methodologies and their application in defining security architectures. Experience delivering security strategies as part of broader enterprise architectures. Expertise in cloud security requirements capture, definition, and implementation. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership abilities. Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of performing under pressure. Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver in a high-pressure environment. Focused on customer care and expectation management. Additional Responsibilities: Support consultancy team personnel and offer guidance to grow internal skills and capabilities. Provide technical leadership for security projects and ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
