Your new company Opportunity to join a large Public Sector organisation within Manchester. Your new role Currently looking for a Security Architect with experience of working on Applications and Data Integrations to work on an IT Change initiatives programme. The candidate will have a broad range of security knowledge and best practices across multiple security domains including network security, identity and access management, data protection, application security, and endpoint security. Experience in securing the delivery of IT change initiatives is essential, along with experience in application delivery, business analytics, CRM tooling, IT automation, App & Data integration, and CMDB tooling. The right candidate will be able to identify the unique security requirements of change initiatives, communicate security needs effectively with a wide set of stakeholders, and apply the concept of traceability in the work they deliver. What you'll need to succeed Experience assuring outputs from either strategic change projects or third parties against architectural designs and ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and practices. Experience designing and drafting security standards and patterns to align with industry best practices. Experience of managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders within a large and complex organisation. Experience of threat modelling including the Microsoft STRIDE process and exposure to industry best practices for describing threats such as MITRE ATT&CK. What you'll get in return Security Architect / Security Consultant - 6 month contract - Hybrid (2 days P/W onsite Manchester) - £750 P/D Inside IR35
