The Role As a Security Consultant at Nettitude, you will be integral to delivering a range of security engagements, including penetration tests, PCI assessments, Cyber Essentials certifications, and CHECK evaluations. Key Responsibilities: Security Engagements: Conduct penetration testing and related activities such as Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, PCI DSS-ASV scans, and CHECK evaluations. Client Interaction: Manage the entire lifecycle of security engagements, from kick-off calls to testing, reporting, and debriefs. Reporting: Produce high-quality, thorough reports that demonstrate continuous improvement. Client Relationships: Develop and maintain professional, consultative client relationships. Mentorship: Mentor Associate Security Consultants as needed. Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized projects as assigned. Technical Analysis: Provide technical analysis of current IT security events, particularly for media coverage when requested. Required Skills and Experience: Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in IT security, with experience in web application, internal infrastructure, and cloud engagements (Azure or AWS). Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English skills. Team and Individual Work: Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team. Certifications: CREST CRT or equivalent IT security certification. Experience: At least 12 months of relevant IT security industry experience within the past 2 years.
