M A Security Systems Ltd is now looking for an apprentice to support with the growth of the business. This is a three-year Level 3 apprenticeship that will offer a variety of training and opportunities.

Founded in 2013 and actively trading since 2010, M A Security Systems Ltd is an established security system installation company based in Essex, serving the whole of the UK.

With a combined 45 years of experience in the security industry, covering all aspects of system installation and maintenance, no job is too small or too big for our team.

Duties may include:

Installing, servicing & maintaining appropriate equipment Adhering to safe working practices & able to take instruction Using power tools, lifting, carrying & climbing ladders Providing excellent customer service Working evenings/weekends to complete a job, if necessary Obtaining a full manual driving license by the end of your apprenticeship, if not already held Ability to travel to client sites is essential for this role Employer website:

Entry requirements Desired Qualifications:

English and Maths, A*-C or equivalent (4-9). Those who do not hold these qualifications will be required to complete functional skills Level 2 before completion of the apprenticeship. Skills for Security can support with this. A valid UK driving license or commitment to obtain it before the end of year 3 of the apprenticeship

Training to be provided Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend the centre one week every eight weeks.

You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.

You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company requires you to complete.

The employer will mentor and coach you on the job. You will also shadow, learn, and get involved in all aspects of Fire and Security alarms.

The successful candidate will be fully supported by a workplace mentor while undertaking the Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship.

We also have the opportunity to supplement the apprenticeship training in-house with extra FireQual CPD approved courses.

Things to consider College attendance is a requirement, this will be on a block release basis. The rest of the time will be spent working within M A Security. You will also be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company requires you to complete.

Future prospects Upon successful completion, you may be offered a permanent role.
