Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee and enhance the safety and security protocols within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing security strategies, managing security personnel, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, as well as the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Duties Managing the area of responsibility, including support, absence management, discipline, grievance, and recruitment activities. Setting goals and objectives for the team, including supervisory roles. Acting as a role model, aligning behaviour with company values. Driving employee engagement through personal interaction and coaching. Managing contractual budgets in line with financial targets. Ensuring delivery of required security services to customer satisfaction and contract requirements. Ensuring sufficient, trained, licensed, and vetted staff. Completing risk assessments, health & safety assessments, and incident reporting. Developing customer relationships and addressing concerns. Completing monthly performance reports and billing schedules. Experience Proven experience in a security management role or similar position is essential. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols. Certification in first aid is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks and implementing solutions. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with internal teams and external agencies.
