Security Officer Contract: Government Location: Birmingham, B37 7YE Hours of work: 42 Working Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off Contract Type: Permanent Hourly Rate: £12.50 Are you passionate about safety and delivering a great customer experience? As a Security Officer with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations. The Role

Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instructions Support the Security Control Room Monitor CCTV and direct staff to issues of assistance, breaches or other normal duties Assist staff and visitors to site Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities Prevent any unauthorised access Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues About You

Previous security experience A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech Great attention to detail and a consistent approach A team player with good customer service skills New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development The Company
