Job Description

Are you a vigilant, responsible, and communicative individual looking for a career in security? Join our team as a Security Officer in Camberley and help us ensure a safe and secure environment for our premises, assets, and people.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry. Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both indoors and outdoors, to maintain a secure environment. Respond promptly and professionally to alarms and incidents, managing situations with calm and authority. Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems. Communicate effectively using a radio with other officers and confidently handle phone calls with management, contractors, clients, and the public. Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Requirements: Must hold a valid CCTV license. Must be local to Camberley or within a commutable distance. Strong communication skills, with confidence in using radios and handling phone communications. Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends. Available for 12-hour shifts: 7 am-7 pm and 7 pm-7 am. Ability to complete a 5-day training course successfully. Commitment to professionalism and maintaining a secure environment.

Shift Pattern: 5 Day shifts, 3 off, 4 Night shifts, 4 off.
