Are you looking for a new challenge that offers guaranteed hours on a fixed rolling rota basis? We have an exciting opportunity to join our long-standing team working within a busy distribution hub. As a Security Officer, you will be assisting us in our goal of providing a first-class service to our client.
Main responsibilities:
Presenting at all times a smart, alert, and visible security presence
Access/Egress control and securing customer premises
Reporting any security incidents and dealing with emergency situations
Reporting any facilities related issues to the relevant departments
Monitoring onsite CCTV in line with company policies and procedures
Regular foot patrols both internal and external within the site perimeter
Vehicle stop and searches in line with company policy and procedures
Experience working within a distribution environment advantageous as the role includes vehicle seal checks and reviewing relevant paperwork
Required:
You will need to be a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A valid SIA licence is required and First Aid is an advantage.
You must be able to prove a 5 years checkable work or back to school history.
Terms:
Working Nights – 06:30 - 18:30 on a four on four off rota pattern with flexibility required to meet operational needs.
