Marpol Security are seeking front-line security officers near Melton Mowbray who can demonstrate and deliver high-quality security, acting as a visual deterrent for our customers. As a static officer, you will join a security team or operate in a lone working capacity to ensure the smooth and safe running of the site. Responsibilities include gatehouse duties, securing premises, patrolling, provision of concierge duties, responding to emergencies, and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.
Shifts are performed 4 on 4 off, averaging 42 hours per week with the opportunity of additional shifts. We are seeking candidates interested in both day and night shifts.
Duties Include:
Gatehouse duties including access and egress, accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries, and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty.
Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, equipment, and access points; permitting entry to authorised personnel only.
Prevent loss and damage to client sites by reporting irregularities.
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Ensure risk assessment and assignment instructions are always followed to meet customer requirements.
Deal with customers, colleagues, third party site staff, and members of the public in a professional manner.
You must always conduct yourself in a manner which brings credit to Marpol Security and takes appropriate care of all equipment and uniform issued.
