JOB TITLE: Security Officer
LOCATION: Parkway Shopping Centre, Newbury
PAY RATE: £12.75 per hour
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 35 hours per week
ABM UK is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a leading provider of facility services in the UK, ABM UK has been serving various locations since 1987. As a Security Officer at ABM UK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access, responding to emergencies, conducting regular patrols, and enforcing security procedures.
Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter vandalism, theft, and other security threats Respond to emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action and reporting incidents to the relevant authorities Enforce security procedures and regulations, including checking identification and conducting bag searches if necessary Monitor security systems, such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to identify any unusual activity or breaches Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and directions Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities Minimum Requirements
