If so, we would love to hear from you! We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team where you will be covering a fantastic site in Newport! Responsibilities: Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site Inspect and patrol premises regularly Monitor property entrance Authorise entrance of people and vehicles Report any suspicious behaviours and happenings Secure all exits, doors and windows Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner Provide assistance to people in need Submit reports of daily surveillance activity Submit reports of every suspicious action Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV Conduct external and internal security patrols Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed Essential Skills: A valid SIA Licence 3 years of experience as a Security Officer or similar role Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Experience with report writing Outstanding surveillance and observation skills IT literate Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Right to work in the UK Five-year checkable history Must have a full manual driving licence with access to a vehicle Company Perks: Guaranteed 36 hours per week Shifts: 3 shifts per week Diversity and Inclusion: Securitas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
