ABM UK Stirling, Scotland, United Kingdom 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants JOB TITLE: Security Officer LOCATION: Thistles Shopping Centre, Stirling PAY RATE: £11.94/hour, 42 hours p/w SHIFT PATTERN: 5 over 7 Role Overview And Purpose We are looking to appoint a proactive Security Officer with customer service at the forefront of all they do to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for all our customers and staff. This is a permanent contract covering holidays with advanced notification of shifts. SIA DS or SG Licence required. Key Responsibilities Carry out daily/weekly/monthly duties as outlined in the site Assignment Instructions Be present on the mall to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained Conduct patrols covering all areas of the shopping mall and service yards Take an active role in emergency situations including first aid and fire warden Oversee external contractor management to ensure safe working practices Required Skills And Experience Enjoy working as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal Good communication skills both written and verbal to assist with accurate report writing Excellent time management Smart, well-groomed and confident Conflict Management aware High level of customer care awareness Familiar with patrolling and monitoring from both a loss prevention aspect and health & safety SIA Door Supervisor/Security Guard licence What we offer: Cycle to work scheme Free, on-site staff parking and numerous transport links Great working environment with a relaxing team room for breaktimes Full and ongoing training with a view for career development including opportunities to progress Numerous online courses to choose from and complete at your own pace Competitive annual leave with fair and simple holiday booking system Easy to use clocking in/out system for accurate payroll recording Online pay slips live before pay day and available to download.
