The Security Platform Engineer will be responsible for supporting the management of security solutions in our on-premises estate including endpoints and mobile devices, ensuring the protection of our data, applications, and systems against cyber threats. The Security Platform Engineer will integrate with other areas of Infrastructure security, providing expertise, advice and suggestions on Infrastructure related issues. What you'll do Ensure the on-prem devices and systems are complying with security standards and that there is a remediation process for any non-compliances. To improve security posture of endpoints, mobile devices and on-prem servers. Improve the security controls and configurations within the technologies. Fine tune and optimize security tools and processes. Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. Ability to use lateral thinking to break a problem down into its component parts to identify and diagnose root causes Ability to communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders, including those with limited subject knowledge Helping to define security standards and guardrails and supporting their implementation and support Maintain a good level of awareness and understanding of technology and security threats and of marketplace developments to address these Who you are Minimum 2 years relevant experience in infrastructure security products Hands-on experience with endpoint security tools and Microsoft technologies within Azure, such as Defender XDR, In-tune. Hands-on experience of Palo Alto, Fortinet and ability to demonstrate expertise would be a very strong advantage. Understanding of Panorama and FortiManager is beneficial. Experience of Akamai security tools would be a strong advantage Hands-on experience of Z-Scaler ZIA and ZPA and policy management is beneficial Working knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel Experience and knowledge of analysing security alerts, incidents and threat hunting to identify potential threats and weakness in solutions Hands-on experience in configuring and managing policies within security tools. Demonstrate working knowledge of programming (Python, PowerShell etc.) and working with API Everyone’s welcome We are ambitious about the future of retail.
