Monday to Friday, must be flexible. We require a dedicated Security Manager to oversee the Security Operations. You will be involved in all aspects of contract management and will work closely with the Client on site and the Mitie Operations team to ensure the best service is delivered. Main Duties Being both the company's and client's key contact and ensuring the Security teams strive for and exceed the expectations for service excellence through proactive management and leadership. Maintaining a clear focus together with the provision of key management information and site feedback. Develop and maintain site relationships with the client. Ensure the operation runs in accordance with the approved SOP documents. Ensure the operational team delivers the service in line with the published KPI standards. Ensure all statutory training and vetting requirements applicable to the contract are carried out and recorded in line with the contract requirements. Ensure the service delivery is completed to the KPI standards and exceptions or risks are notified in advance where possible. Attend and participate in site meetings. Ensure full compliance with safe working practices and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely completion of any and all incident reports. Demonstrate full financial control by ensuring spend for direct labour and subcontractors meets the budget criteria. Maintain accurate records and tracker data for all aspects of the operation. Ensure the appropriate approvals are secured for variable spend items i.e., uniforms. Ensure all staff engaged on site carry the correct level of vetting and screening. Ensure compliance with all Mitie and site Health and Safety policies and procedures. Ensure all statutory training has been conducted and recorded for Security Officers. Manage and ensure compliance with the WP+ payroll and annual leave systems. Ensure the full employment cycle of recruitment, onboarding, induction, job-specific training, and the notification of leavers are completed and documented in accordance with company procedures. Coach and develop your team in all aspects of their roles. Ensure full site staff engagement by holding regular team briefing meetings and toolbox talks. Create a positive site culture between the Mitie team and all key stakeholders. Maintain an accurate record of all Mitie owned assets on site. Ensure all HR processes are conducted in accordance with Mitie policies and procedures. Aspire to be an ambassador for Mitie at all times. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and quality systems. Able to represent Mitie at key Client meetings. Able to demonstrate key leadership skills. Has good commercial and general management skills. Ability to demonstrate and maintain excellent client-facing focus. Has the ability to work calmly whilst under pressure. Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment. Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
