We have an exciting opportunity for a Formulation Chemist to join us and help launch our new formulation plant! This career-building role starts with preparing crucial samples for product registrations. As we grow, you'll scale up operations, introduce new products on cutting-edge manufacturing lines, and become an invaluable resource. You'll provide expert advice, fine-tune processes, and lead new product introductions. Manufacture lab-scale formulations and risk assessments (COSHH) Conduct physicochemical testing Document lab procedures, results, and scale-up data; share regular updates with stakeholders on progress and issues Support technical introductions on new manufacturing lines providing HSE and Technical insights Troubleshoot and optimize production processes Assist in setting up of at-line laboratory for in-process testing Qualifications
Chemistry degree or equivalent Experience in chemistry within a chemical manufacturing environment Lab risk assessment experience (COSHH) Formulation experience preferred Scale-up or plant production experience a plus Strong HSE mindset and formulation science knowledge Excellent lab skills and stakeholder communication Additional Information

The site was founded in 1919 and today employs nearly 400 skilled people in a variety of roles that include manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support.
