Earn £20 - £25 an hour working as a self-employed carer in and around Wylam. We currently have clients looking for care in and around Wylam, Prudhoe, the Tyne Valley and wider Northumberland areas. It's easy to become a self-employed carer with Sparrow and earn £20 - £25 an hour or even more! Here's how: Sparrow guides you step by step through everything you need to get started as a self-employed carer in our introductory course. From DBS to the CQC and from training to insurance. All the documents and software you need...it's all covered and all services are included for free. We help to find you clients at the start of your career as a self-employed carer and whenever you need more hours. We make the ongoing business admin a cinch; we send your invoices, chase any unpaid bills and even submit your tax return. We link you with a network of self-employed carers so that you have peer support, cover and feel part of a team. Best of all,

Sparrow charges absolutely no fees ever to carers for the services we provide.

You keep 100% of the fees you charge. We charge a separate industry-leading fee to the clients we match you with. Your care plus our fees are usually significantly cheaper than agency care so it's better for you and your clients! If you think you have what it takes to become an outstanding self-employed carer, then you can find out more and apply at www.sparrowcarers.co.uk. Or read on to find out more about being a self-employed carer with Sparrow. What makes a great Sparrow carer? At Sparrow, we’re more interested in your personal qualities than your qualifications. We are looking for people who will make exceptionally good carers, irrespective of their background or experience. You don't necessarily need direct care experience either. We are highly selective though - we only work with outstanding people that we'd be happy to have look after our own parents. If you're committed to providing exceptional care and excited to join a network of self-employed carers, you might be exactly what we are looking for. Our ideal candidates are: Self-motivated people with high standards in everything they do. Caring and giving people who contribute to our community of carers. Great communicators with a positive outlook. Open to learning and growing as carers and people. Above all, they have a commitment to providing exceptional care. Does that sound like you? Head to sparrowcarers.co.uk to get started. What is it like being a self-employed carer? As a self-employed carer, you are free to decide which services you provide. Sparrow only matches you with clients who you are qualified and happy to work with. The work is varied and you have control over the care you provide and the clients you work with. Likely responsibilities include: Companionship. Assistance with daily living (e.g., cooking, cleaning, shopping). Personal care (qualifications required but training opportunities provided) (e.g., assistance with eating or drinking, toileting, washing or bathing, dressing, administering medications, etc.). Coordinating care services and communicating with healthcare professionals. Running your own business as a self-employed carer (assistance given). Skills: Strong caregiving skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. Ideally a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or facilities. Experience in home care or similar caregiving roles is helpful but not essential.
