With a strong reputation for excellence and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled self-employed, labour-only Carpenter / Multi Skilled Operative to join our team. Job Description:

As a Carpenter / Multi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of repair and maintenance services, with a focus on carpentry work. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, responding to client requests for property repairs, installations, and upgrades. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Conducting carpentry repairs and installations, such as repairing or replacing doors, windows, stairs, flooring, and skirting boards. Conducting general property repairs, including roofing, painting and basic plumbing. Diagnosing and resolving issues related to property maintenance, including identifying the cause of problems and recommending appropriate solutions. Ensuring work is completed to a high standard, following health and safety regulations and company policies. Communicating with clients in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships. Keeping accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or City and Guilds equivalent. Proven experience as a Carpenter or Multi Skilled Operative, with a strong background in carpentry work. Knowledge of general property maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical work. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide effective solutions. Excellent carpentry skills, including proficiency in using various hand and power tools. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Full UK driving license is required. Own tools preferred. Must be based in London or surrounding areas. We Offer: Company van and Fuel Card provided for work purposes. Supportive and inclusive work environment.
