Your Key Responsibilities as a SEMH LSA: Provide
movement breaks
and
sensory support
to help the student focus. Reduce anxiety during transitions and unstructured times by escorting and supporting the student. Teach
emotional regulation
and
social skills , tailored to their needs. Work closely with the student’s family to ensure consistency between home and school. Keep the student’s
routine predictable
and help them prepare for changes. Collaborate with specialists, like Occupational Therapists, to meet their physical and emotional needs. What We’re Looking For:
