- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexi system
Holiday
– 28 days annual leave (Inclusive of bank holiday allowance, to be booked when you like). Allowance increases by one day per each year of service following 5 years’ service (up to a maximum of 33 days).

Semi-Senior Accountant
in our
Plymouth
office.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy a varied workload with the initiative to develop their careers and provide first-class service to our clients. Ongoing study support for the ACA is available along with ongoing career progression.
Key responsibilities will include:
Processing of accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Maintaining weekly/monthly bookkeeping for clients.
Preparing monthly management accounts for clients.
Preparing VAT returns for clients.
Preparation of Tax returns.
Possibility of some audit work.
Supporting the team with work and projects as required.
Aiding less experienced team members by motivating and developing them through training and support.
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
AAT Qualified, qualified by experience, and/or currently studying ACA.
3 years+ varied accountancy practice experience.
Team player.
Professional presentation & work ethic.
Self-motivated & enthusiastic.
Highly personable with excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Organised, efficient with attention to detail.
