Certified advisors for Xero and Quickbooks, we assist clients in transitioning to cloud accounting and offer bespoke software training for Making Tax Digital compliance. With over 40 years of industry experience, our founder, Michele Marsland, specializes in landlord tax and actively supports local charities. Role Description This is a part-time or full-time on-site role for a Semi Senior Accountant at Marslands Accountants Limited. The role involves assisting small businesses and landlords with daily accounting tasks, providing tax advice, and offering bespoke software training for Making Tax Digital compliance in an office setting located in Plympton. We specialize in the let property campaign, and although training will be given, a knowledge of landlord accounts and tax will be an advantage. Qualifications Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Tax Preparation skills Experience with Xero and Quickbooks software Knowledge of UK tax regulations and Making Tax Digital requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Part-qualified AAT or equivalent is a plus Previous experience in a similar role in the accounting industry
