Semi Senior Accountant

Responsibilities
Preparation of Accounts:
Compile and prepare accounts and tax computations for a diverse portfolio of clients, including companies, partnerships, and sole traders. Client Interaction:
Report directly to the director or client manager, attending meetings and addressing client queries effectively. VAT Returns:
Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with current regulations. Bookkeeping Support:
Provide ad hoc bookkeeping assistance utilizing various accounting software packages, including Sage 50 and Xero. Team Support:
Mentor and provide support to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Ideal Candidate
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working in an accounting practice. Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively within a team setting. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Sage and Xero is preferred but not essential. Interpersonal Skills:
A friendly and approachable demeanor, capable of building strong client relationships. Driving License:
