Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Swansea
Position: Permanent, full time
Salary: Up to £35,000
Autograph Recruitment are currently working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity for a semi senior accountant to join their rapidly expanding Swansea Office. Responsibilities include:
Preparation of accounts and tax computations for a wide range of companies, partnerships and sole traders. Reporting directly to your director or client manager. Preparation and submission of VAT returns. Ad hoc book-keeping assistance using various accounting software packages, including Sage 50 and Xero. Attending meetings and dealing directly with clients' queries. Providing support to junior staff. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
At least 2 years experience working in practice. Ability to work effectively in teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in Sage and Xero is preferred but not essential. Friendly and approachable. Hold a full UK driving licence. The role will offer study support towards your ACCA qualification. Salary levels will depend on experience.
