Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships through exceptional service.
Audit Assignments: Work on a variety of audit engagements across multiple sectors, assisting with planning, fieldwork, and preparation of audit files.
Progressive Responsibility: Begin leading smaller audits as you develop, with scope to take on more responsibility over time.
Quality Assurance: Ensure audit assignments or sections are completed to high standards, on time, and within budget.
Accounts & Tax: Prepare accounts and corporation tax computations, contributing to a broad skill set.
Team Collaboration: Supervise and train junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Workload Management: Handle your own workload efficiently while consistently exceeding client expectations.
Technical Growth: Stay up to date with technical developments, actively participating in training opportunities.
About You
Qualifications: ACCA/ACA part-qualified.
Experience: 1–2 years’ UK audit practice experience.
Education: Degree (2:1 or above) or 3 A-levels (minimum A, B, B).
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH is advantageous. Strong Excel skills are essential.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and a confident communicator. Enjoys working as part of a team and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
