Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance. Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team. Attend minor breakdowns to machinery. Carry out routine machine servicing. Carry out minor machine repairs. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules. Preparing work and machines for Engineers. Support Engineers in their role. Maintain a clean and tidy workshop. Inventory control. Provide routine maintenance. Participate in site wide improvement and team building activities. Person Specification

Required Knowledge Experience: working with production process machinery, e.g. granulators, belt conveyors. Experience: working with production environment in a semi-skilled position or similar. Up to NVQ Level 2 qualified in Engineering or Mechanical Services. Personal Attributes Passionate about continuous improvement. Enjoy problem solving and solution focused. Excellent team player. Self-starter who likes to take proactive initiative. PC based software packages. Excellent timekeeping and attendance. In addition to your normal duties, you may, from time to time, be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
