Job Overview: We are seeking a Semi-Skilled Engineer to support an experienced Engineering Fitter on a variety of projects. Initially for the first couple of months, the work will include the assembly and installation of industrial ovens. This role requires someone with a mechanical aptitude, a flexible approach, and a willingness to take on varied tasks. Key Responsibilities : Assist in building industrial ovens, including : Oven assembly. Basic electrical wiring. Assembling switches into fascias. Painting internal components. General engineering workshop tasks, such as: Drilling holes and tapping. Fitting and assembly work. Support in moving to new premises, including: Building water pipework and troughs. Assisting in the construction of bespoke equipment. Requirements: Some experience in an engineering workshop or similar environment. A mechanical bias with the ability to apply hands-on skills to various tasks. Familiarity with assembly, repair, and general engineering tasks.
