Ward are looking for a semi-skilled and mechanically minded person to support our Service Engineers based in our workshop at our Ilkeston site (DE74RF). This is a unique position which will suit someone who has some experience working with hand tools (spanners, hammers) and perhaps some welding experience; however, we are happy to teach this skill to the right candidate. A typical day will consist of maintenance tasks, such as changing hydraulic pipes, changing fuel filters, changing hoses, and machinery guards. You will be working alongside time-served and highly competent service engineers, so it's a great opportunity to develop the skills you already have. Skills and Knowledge Required: It is essential that you have good teamwork skills and previous experience in a similar role. You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team.
