Job Title: Semi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Shrewsbury Salary: GBP30,000 to GBP35,000 Per annum. Big training budget and development plans. Shift: Monday to Friday days only. Job Summary: If you're looking to break into the Engineering industry and have some experience in hands-on Maintenance Roles or some Engineering qualifications with no experience, this could be a great opportunity for you. We are looking for somebody we can invest in and develop to progress into our Maintenance team as a Maintenance Engineer. Loads of support and training will be provided! Key Responsibilities: Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems. Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting equipment issues and minimizing downtime. Help in the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure operational efficiency. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications: Basic engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). Some experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
