Semiconductor Product Engineer , you will oversee the product life cycle from cradle to grave, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments. Your responsibilities will include managing the yield and quality of semiconductor products, investigating customer returns, working with suppliers, and ensuring that the products are tested to the highest standards. You will play a critical role in the transition of products from development into production, focusing on NPI (New Product Introduction) activities. This is a manufacturing-focused position where you will liaise closely with wafer suppliers, development teams, test engineers, and other internal functions to ensure optimal performance and yield of semiconductor products. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire product life cycle - from development through to production and post-production. Work closely with wafer suppliers, designing both the structure of the blank wafer and the product on the wafer. Manage product yield, ensuring continuous improvement and addressing any quality issues. Coordinate investigations into customer returns and support the testing process. Drive NPI activities and work with internal teams, including manufacturing, testing, and development. Provide technical, logistical, and administrative support across the organization. Collaborate with suppliers as the key technical interface, ensuring smooth communication and high-quality product delivery. What KO2 are Looking For: Experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong understanding of semiconductor terminology, wafer fabrication, and yield analysis. Background in analogue electronics or a related field would be highly advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks across different departments. Ability to communicate and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Passion for driving product excellence and innovation in the semiconductor space.
