SEN Classroom Mentor – Reading Empowering students with additional needs Are you passionate about supporting young minds and helping students overcome their unique challenges? Do you have experience working with children and are seeking a new, meaningful opportunity? Are you calm and compassionate in all situations? If you answered yes, this could be the perfect role for you! A supportive SEN school in Reading is looking for a Classroom Mentor to provide one-on-one and group support for students with special educational needs. The role requires someone who can start as soon as possible and commit through July 2024. In this role, you will be working with students aged 3 to 18 with a wide range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory processing issues, physical disabilities, and communication challenges. You will support students in their learning objectives and help manage emotional and behavioural situations alongside the SENCO and teaching staff, providing vital assistance to ensure students are supported both academically and emotionally.
