About the Role: We are recruiting an

SEN HLTA

for a specialised school in Uxbridge that caters to pupils with SLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about SEN education to take on a leading classroom role and support the learning and development of incredible young people.

Requirements: HLTA Qualification

is essential. At least 3 years of experience

working in SEN settings, including experience in a minimum of two schools supporting students with MLD or SLD. Confidence and comfort in working with students with SLD, even if your prior experience has focused on MLD. Willingness to assist with

personal care

tasks. A valid DBS registered on the Update Service is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities: As an

SEN HLTA , you will: Lead small group activities and support learning plans under the direction of the teacher. Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to enhance their confidence and independence. Provide personal care and support as needed.
