90 - 100 per day Are you enthusiastic about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential? A primary SEND school in Merton is seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Learning Assistant to join their team. This role offers a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners within a supportive and inspiring school community. Key Duties: Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, helping them to thrive academically and emotionally. Assist teachers in delivering tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to address the unique needs of each child. Create an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere where students feel safe and motivated. Help facilitate engaging activities to ensure all children are actively participating in lessons. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about progress and celebrating successes. What We're Looking For: Experience working with SEN students is a bonus, but passion, patience, and dedication are most important. The ability to adapt and think creatively to meet the diverse needs of students. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
