About the role: This is a part-time position, working 9 hours a week spread across 3 days, the hours are as follows: Tuesday - 9:30am - 10:15am Wednesday - 11:25am - 3pm Thursday - 11:25am - 4pm Key duties: Plan and deliver Art and Design lessons. Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SALTs, psychologists, and ICT specialists to extend students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Maintain a professional relationship with students, mentoring them and effectively encouraging them to enjoy their studies. About you: Must have a teaching qualification. At least 2 years of experience working with SEN students. Knowledge of subject specialism. Planning and marking experience. Strong understanding of safeguarding policies. Understanding of actions or situations that might be considered discrimination and how these can be prevented. Punctual, well-organized. Caring, dedicated, and patient.
