Take the strategic lead in managing the safety and attendance of all learners. Be responsible for the implementation of the school's systems, procedures, and policies in relation to attendance and punctuality. Assist the Headteacher in helping to develop procedures with regards to pastoral provision for all learners. Be an exemplary leader in dealings with staff, pupils, parents, and outside agencies. Liaise with teachers to make appropriate arrangements for classes when staff are unexpectedly absent, ensuring appropriate cover within the year groups. Participate in Positive Handling and de-escalation techniques training. Promote and safeguard the welfare of the children and young people that you are responsible for or encounter. Why work for us?
