Looking for an SEN School Care Worker in Bovington!

SEN School Care Worker Location: Bovington Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience) Start: Immediate Contract: Full-time / Part-time

As an SEN School Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing tailored care and support to students with special educational needs. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll help create an inclusive learning environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential. Your compassion and dedication will play a vital role in improving the educational experience for these students.

Responsibilities of a SEN School Care Worker:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs. Assist with personal care and mobility, ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour in the classroom. Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement personalised learning plans. Monitor and document students' progress, providing feedback to staff and parents as needed. Support students in their social and emotional development, helping them build confidence and resilience. Ensure that students are fully included in school activities, including lessons, trips, and extracurricular events. Help students develop independence and life skills.

SEN School Care Worker Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs as a SEN School Care Worker is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or similar, are advantageous. Knowledge of SEN, safeguarding, and behaviour management strategies. Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

To thrive in this role, you should: Have the right to work in the UK. Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years. Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
