Are you a SEN Teacher looking for a new role in Camden? Would you like to work within a hospital school teaching children with mental health needs?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Teacher to join this special school in Camden as a Key Stage 2-3 teacher. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP (upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent).

The School:

A leading independent special school with a fully integrated specialist clinical team located nearby. For over 50 years the school has pioneered therapeutic educational work with children. A small school working with up to 21 children aged between 5-14 across Key Stages 1, 2 & 3.

The school provides a model of good practice that fits the Education, Health and Care Plan model. Therapists, specialist nurses, and education staff work closely together to support the learning and development of children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, their families/carers, and the professional network around them.

Responsibilities:

Planning and assessing pupils with SEMH Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions Support behaviour by following the children's plans Updating and setting targets for children Working alongside other professionals in the support network

Minimum Requirements:

Full QTS Previous experience working within SEMH or SEND An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible Legal right to work in the UK
