Are you experienced supporting those with SEN or additional needs? We are looking for a Primary Support Assistant to work on a full-time basis supporting a sensory room for pupils with ASC on a small group basis in a mainstream primary school. ‘Our school is a fantastic environment for the learning development of our pupils, and we are looking for someone who is willing to get involved straight away and ultimately make a difference.’ Ideal applicants are those with: Experience supporting those with SEN – Including ASC, SEMH, MLD and Behavioural difficulties Safeguarding Training A drive to help others and enjoy progress Experience working within a school environment supporting KS1/KS2 pupils Teaching Assistant Experience – Primary/Secondary The position is full-time within school hours, and is scheduled to last until July 2024. In your role, you will be expected to motivate, encourage and monitor the pupils as they progress with the work set by the class teacher. Other duties will include general classroom TA activities throughout the day and overall participation in activities. Your ability to provide constructive and relevant feedback to parents will be essential in your role within the school, so it is important that all applicants are capable of communicating effectively.
