Teaching Personnel are working with a local Secondary SEN school to help find Teaching Assistants to support small groups of pupils who have Special Educational Needs. Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a small and supportive school within an SEN School in Derby. About the role:

Provide one-to-one and group support for pupils aged 11-16 with a range of SEN. Collaborate with teachers to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Assist pupils in their academic, emotional, and social development. Monitor and report progress, ensuring that each child achieves their full potential. What we offer:

Experience working with children or young people (especially those with SEN). A patient, caring, and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills. A commitment to the well-being and development of young children. Relevant qualifications and training (e.g., Level 2 / Level 3 in Supporting Teaching or Learning, Manual handling) are an advantage but not essential. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
