You will provide exceptional support to students with special educational needs, guiding them to reach their full potential through personalised and heartfelt care. About the School:

This school is a dedicated special educational needs school, providing tailored support and a nurturing environment for students with diverse learning requirements. The school focuses on individual growth, fostering confidence, independence, and academic progress. Responsibilities of the SEN Support Worker:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, helping them engage with the curriculum effectively. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Monitor and record student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents to aid in their development. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic growth. Requirements of the SEN Support Worker:

Previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training in special education is preferred. A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for helping students overcome learning barriers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and collaborate with colleagues. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse needs of students in a dynamic classroom setting. Understanding of various SEN conditions. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
