About the role:

SEN TA:

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to support non-verbal students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This full-time, long-term role involves helping children achieve their learning goals, develop communication skills, and thrive in a supportive environment.

Application Requirements:

Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly non-verbal students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to SEN support. Relevant qualifications or experience in special education (preferred but not essential). Commitment to a long-term role within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support for non-verbal ASD students in KS1 and KS2. Assist in implementing individual learning strategies. Support sensory and emotional regulation. Collaborate with class teachers and SEN specialists. Foster confidence, trust, and independence in students.
