SEN Teaching Assistant

to join a school in

Tower Hamlets

immediately. This is a long-term, full-time role with the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN needs. Support students in both classroom and outdoor settings, assisting with daily learning activities. Help implement tailored interventions for students with additional learning or behavioural needs. Work with teachers to adapt lesson plans to ensure the inclusion and success of all students. Collaborate with other staff to promote a nurturing and inclusive environment. Assist in the general classroom duties, including preparing materials and helping students with academic tasks. Be proactive in addressing the individual needs of students, ensuring they feel supported and included. Candidate Requirements: At least

1 year of experience

working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. Experience working with students with a variety of SEN, including learning difficulties, autism, SEMH, and physical disabilities. Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm. A nurturing and empathic approach to working with children. Passion for supporting students with special needs and helping them achieve their full potential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
