Prior experience with SEN students or similar roles is essential for delivering the best support. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Assist teachers in creating and delivering tailored lesson plans that address individual learning requirements. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment to build student confidence and encourage engagement. Support classroom activities, ensuring a safe and positive learning atmosphere. Maintain effective communication with students, teachers, and parents, offering constructive updates as necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with a focus on SEN. Genuine passion for supporting SEN students and helping them reach their full potential. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, adaptable approach to student needs. Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential if you have relevant classroom experience). Flexibility on working schedules. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
